Ranthambhore
has some fine accommodation options, ranging from budget hotels to five
star facilities. There are many resorts with beautiful lawns, swimming
pools, airconditioned restaurants, bars etc. apart from excellent rooms.
The hotels and resorts also help you in pick up and drop from Swai
Madhopur station nearby and for arranging for the jungle safari, trips
to surrounding lakes etc. Ranthambhore is high on the list of inbound
tourists and therefore all the hotels and resorts are tuned to these foreign
visitors, keeping things spic and span at their place and being extra
careful and helpful. Safaris to the jungle are managed by the Forest
officials and only a limited number of vehicles (fixed) are allowed
inside the jungle, morning and evening. Jeeps can accommodate four
persons, but are booked two months in advance in the guest name and is
not transferable. Canters are open vehicles seating 20 person affording
excellent views and move very slowly in the jungle.
Each resort/hotel can arrange for pick up and drop to the station and also for the Jungle Safari.
