is RSS
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a lightweight XML format designed for sharing headlines and other Web content. It may stand for Really Simple Syndication, Rich Site Summary, RDF Site Summary, or a variation on one of those. None of that matters to you anyhow, for you it means that you can subscribe once to a site's feed and get news, new articles or offers or anything new that the site has to offer right on your desktop without searching for it all the time.
