Ayodhya Ram’s Abode

                           Ayodhya is a city situated on the banks of holy river Saryu. In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, It is the headquarter of Ayodhya District and Ayodhya division. Ayodhya, also known as Saket, is an ancient city of India, is the birthplace of Bhagwan Shri Ram and setting of the great epic Ramayana.  Ayodhya used to be the capital of the ancient Kosala Kingdom. It has an average elevation of 93 meters (305 feet).
                          Owing to the belief as the birthplace of Bhagwan Shri Ram, Ayodhya (Awadhpuri) has been regarded as first one of the seven most important pilgrimage sites (Mokshdayini Sapt Puris) for Hindus.

How to Reach

AIR By Air : Several airlines are operating from Major cities to Mahirishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya which is approximately 10km from Ayodhya Dham . People can also reach from Lucknow ,Gorakhpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi Airports.

TRAIN By Train : Ayodhya Cantt and Ayodhya are major railway stations of the district and are well connected to almost all major cities and towns. By Rail route Ayodhya is 128 kms. from Lucknow, 171 kms. from Gorakhpur, 157 kms. from Prayagraj and 196 kms from Varanasi.

ROAD By Road : Services of Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation buses are available 24 hours a day, and it is very easy to reach here from all places. The city is about 130 k.m. from Lucknow, 200 k.m. from Varanasi, 160 k.m. from Prayagraj , 140 k.m. from Gorakhpur and about 636 k.m. from Delhi. Buses are frequently available from Lucknow,Delhi and Gorakhpur. Buses are also available from Varanasi, Prayagraj and other places as per their schedule.

Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir

The Ram Mandir is a partially constructed Hindu temple complex in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. Many Hindus believe that it is located at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, the mythical birthplace of Rama, a principal deity of Hinduism. The temple was inaugurated on 22 January 2024 after a prana pratishtha ceremony.

                    Shri Hanuman Garhi Mandir

Hanuman Garhi Temple is a Hindu temple of Hanuman in Uttar Pradesh, India. Located in Ayodhya, it is one of the most important temples in the city along with other temples such as Ram Mandir and Nageshwar Nath. This shrine is under the charge of Bairagi Mahants of Ramanandi Sampradaya and Nirvani Akhara.

                                Kanak Bhawan

Kanak Bhawan is a temple in Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya, which is in the north-east of Ramkot. It is one of the most famous temples of Ayodhya. It is believed that this palace was gifted by Kaikeyi, immediately after the marriage of Rama with Sita and hence, it is their personal palace.

                         Nageshwar Nath Temple

This temple is at Ram Ki Paidi in Ayodhya. The temple of Nageshwarnath is said to have been established by Kush, the son of Rama. Legend is that Kush lost his armlet, while bathing in the Saryu, which was picked up by a Nag-Kanya, who fell in love with him. As she was a devotee of Shiva, Kush erected this temple for her. Even till the times of Vikramaditya the temple was in good shape. The present temple was built in 1750 by the minister of Safdar Jung, named Naval Rai. The festival of Shivratri is celebrated here in a big way, and Shiv Barat procession is taken out during these celebrations which is particularly significant. During the festival time of Mahashivratri the temple receive thousands of devotees.

                            Tulsi Smarak Bhawan

Built in the memory of Goswami Tulsidas ji, the great saint-poet, this memorial houses Ayodhya Shodh Sansthan which has a large collection of literary works on Goswami Tulsidas ji. Daily Ramleela performance (6:00-9:00 pm) at Tulsi Smarak Auditorium is a major attraction.

                          Dashrath Mahal Ayodhya

Located in the heart of Ayodhya, Dashrath Mahal is accessible through the city’s network of roads, inviting visitors to explore its historical and cultural essence. Here devotees pay homage to Lord Ram amidst serene surroundings and sacred rituals.

                                      Naya Ghat

Beautiful and picturesque view of Saryu river, Availability of boats for rides and pandits for rituals, Good spot for picnic and to witness people taking a bath in the canal. Laser show is also organized for the devotees.

The Haveli Hari Ganga, a beautiful heritage “Haveli” is situated on the banks of the Holy Ganga, a mere 500 meters walk through the Bazaar from the sacred “Har ki Pauri” at Haridwar.
