This 350 year old Fort built by Chandel Rajputs, who also
built the famous Khajuraho temples, was recently renovated and converted to a
heritage hotel with all the modern facilities. One enters the fort through a 37
ft. high door, declared to be the tallest wooden door in India. The fort walls
which are 18 ft. thick and the royal ambience transports you to the era gone by.
